Face - Rhinoplasty

The nose is the very center of the face, making it an important facial feature. Rhinoplasty is a common procedure at our practice that can enhance various aspects of your nose, and can improve your overall appearance. Whether you're looking to make your nose smaller, correct crookedness, or change other aspects of your nose, a rhinoplasty can help improve your self-image.

Our plastic surgeons understand that every case is different and strive to give you exceptional personal care. We have extensive experience with this procedure, have board-certified anesthesiologists on staff, and perform surgeries in our fully accredited facility.

Rhinoplasty Procedure

Our rhinoplasty surgeons can help improve the appearance of your nose.
Various aspects of the nose can be improved such as:

?뛖ymmetry
?뛚idth
?뛖ize
?뛒rofile
?뛐ostrils
?뛐asaltip

Your surgeon will compare your nose with your other facial features and create a look that's tailored to you. Nose surgery can also correct a deviated septum (which often causes breathing obstruction); however, this procedure is not considered cosmetic.

Nasal surgery is performed using an "open" or "closed" procedure. A closed procedure hides incisions inside the nostril, and in an open procedure, the incision is made across the columella (the narrow strip of tissue that separates the nostrils). After the incisions are made, the soft tissue is raised and the nose is reshaped. Once the nose is reshaped, the tissue is redraped and the incisions are closed.

After your rhinoplasty, splints or internal tubes may be necessary to help healing, particularly during the first week. For the next few weeks, initial swelling will subside, and your nasal contour will become more refined. It is important to protect your nose from any injury due to physical activity for the following 4 to 6 months following the procedure. The results of a rhinoplasty generally are permanent, and many women and men report that they are pleased with their new look.
